Dad started in refining of aviation fuels (lab work in New Jersey) and took this expertise to the Lago refinery for the manufacturing of fuels for the Allied efforts in North Africa and Europe...at the close of the war. Started as a production Engr. and retired in Management in the Process Department - running the power plants, with a team, that supplied all the electricity to the refinery and the colony... probable most of St. Nicholas as well.
