Jack spent 16 years in Aruba before transfer to Caracas. He was hired to program the (then new IBM computer) to optimize factory parameters. Over the years his job function grew until he was head of the transportation department (scheduling tanker movement) and was transferred to Caracas and then shortly to the New York office. He may be best known for the small boat he owned (Tern-A2) which whipped many a competitor on the weekend races in the "lagoon". |
